What actually slows a Miami delivery down
It is almost never the drive. It is the last two hundred feet.
A downtown or Brickell tower wants a dock reservation, a certificate of insurance already on file with building management, and a freight elevator booked in a window that is usually mid-morning or after 4pm. A Design District gallery wants the alley, not the street. Wynwood wants somebody who knows which buildings have no dock at all. A Doral warehouse closes its receiving door at 3pm regardless of what your ETA says.
We ask about all of that on the quote call, because a van sitting at a closed dock is the most expensive part of any Miami job. If your building needs paperwork in advance, tell us and we will have it sent before we roll rather than discovering it at the desk.

Can you meet a downtown Miami loading dock window?
Yes, but tell us on the quote call. Most Brickell and downtown towers require a dock reservation and a certificate of insurance on file with building management before a vehicle is allowed in, and the freight elevator is usually only available in set windows. We arrange it in advance rather than turning up and negotiating at the desk.
Do you pick up air freight at MIA?
Regularly. Send us the air waybill number, the delivery order or release from your broker, and the name of the terminal or warehouse holding it, and we recover it and deliver direct. Getting it out before free time expires is usually the whole point, so tell us the deadline.
How does Art Week and Art Basel affect availability?
It compresses everything. Early December is the busiest fortnight of the year in Miami for anyone moving art, and single-vehicle capacity books out. If you have fair deliveries, collector drops or de-install runs in that window, get them on the calendar weeks ahead rather than days.
Do you run from Miami down to the Keys?
Yes, US-1 all the way to Key West if needed. It is a long single-driver day rather than a quick hop — Key Largo is around an hour and a half from Miami, Key West closer to four — so it is quoted as a direct dedicated run and usually still lands the same day.
