Direct lane · About 235 miles

Miami to Orlando, same day.

Two hundred and thirty-five miles up the Turnpike is a four-hour drive, not an overnight service. Loaded in Miami in the morning, unloaded in Orlando in the afternoon, by the same driver, with nothing else in the van.

Central Florida lane

Why this lane is same-day and a parcel network is not

The distance was never the problem. The terminals were.

Freight handed to a network in Miami goes to a local sort facility, waits for a linehaul, rides to a facility near Orlando, gets sorted again and then goes out for delivery. Each of those steps is a queue, and each queue is measured in hours you do not control. That is how a four-hour drive becomes a one-to-three-day transit and how a crated painting acquires a corner ding nobody will admit to.

A dedicated van has none of those steps. It is loaded once, driven, and unloaded once. The drive time is the delivery time, which is why a mid-morning pickup in Miami-Dade routinely lands in Orlando before the end of the working day — and why we can tell you the ETA before you book rather than pointing you at a tracking page afterwards.

Timing

What the run actually looks like

The route is Florida’s Turnpike north to either SR-528 (the Beachline) for the airport and convention corridor, or I-4 for downtown Orlando and Winter Park. Tolls are inside the quoted number, not added afterwards.

The practical cutoff for a same-day landing is a pickup around midday. Later is often still possible — but I-4 through downtown Orlando after 4pm is its own weather system, and we would rather tell you that before you book than after.

Questions we get on this run

What time do I need to book to get it to Orlando today?

As a rule of thumb, a pickup confirmed by around midday lands comfortably the same working day. Earlier is better, particularly for deliveries into downtown Orlando or the I-4 corridor where late-afternoon traffic is heavy. Call and give us the drop address and the deadline and we will give you a straight answer on whether today is realistic.

Can you deliver to the Orange County Convention Center?

Yes. Trade show freight has its own rules — targeted move-in times, marshalling yards, and a general contractor who controls the dock — so we need the show name, the booth number, your exhibitor paperwork and the move-in window. Give us those and we work to them. Missing an advance warehouse deadline is one of the most common reasons people call us for this lane.

Is it cheaper to send it counter-to-counter on a flight?

Sometimes on paper, rarely in practice for anything crated or fragile. Counter-to-counter has a terminal cutoff at one end, a recovery drive and wait at the other, and hands on the freight in between. A dedicated van is door to door with the same driver throughout, so for high-value, awkward or genuinely time-critical items it usually lands sooner and always with a cleaner custody record.

Can you do Orlando back to Miami the same day?

Often, yes, if the Orlando pickup is early enough. It is roughly eight to nine hours of driving for a round trip, which is a full but legal day, and it is quoted as one job rather than two. Tell us both ends and we will confirm before you commit.

Need it moved today?

Tell us the pickup, the drop and the deadline. You will get a firm, all-in price from a person — not an automated estimate.
