Same-day AC parts delivery, supply house to jobsite
Every hour your technician spends driving to a supply counter is an hour of billable labor you lose and an hour your customer sits in a hot building. Orna Logistics does the parts run instead — will-call pickup at the counter, direct delivery to the jobsite, photo proof that it reached the right hands.
The math on sending a tech for the part
Skilled HVAC labor is the most expensive hour in your business, and a will-call run burns two of them: the drive there, the wait at the counter, the drive back through Palmetto or I-95 traffic. During Florida cooling season that is not just an expensive hour, it is a cancelled second call and a customer who phones your competitor.
This is why parts-runner and last-mile delivery has become standard practice in the trade: it keeps the crew on the roof and keeps the schedule intact. A delayed part means longer downtime, and downtime is what the homeowner or the building manager actually remembers.
The service works both directions. Distributors and supply branches use us to make same-day jobsite delivery a competitive advantage over the branch down the road, because when a contractor needs a part now, they buy from whoever can put it in their hands first.
Equipment, not just small parts
Most courier services can carry a contactor and a capacitor. The reason contractors call us is the equipment that will not fit in a car and does not justify a flatbed.
The Sprinter 170″ Extended High Roof gives us up to 533 cu ft, a maximum load length around 15 ft 9 in and about 79 in of standing height inside. That covers condensing units and heat pumps, air handlers and coils, mini-split systems and package units, compressors and motors, 12- and 20-ft line sets, sheet metal and spiral duct, flex and grilles, control boards and thermostats, refrigerant cylinders, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, ladders, and full pallets of filters or fittings.
It is fully enclosed, so a July afternoon storm on the Turnpike is not a problem, and lockable, so nothing walks off while the driver is at a gate.
How contractors and distributors actually use us
Emergency parts runs. Compressor failed on a commercial rooftop, the part is at a branch twenty miles away, and the building is a restaurant in service. We pick up and drive it direct.
Morning stocking runs. Pick up the day's orders across two or three branches before your crews roll, and drop them at each jobsite so nobody starts the day at a counter.
Distributor jobsite delivery. Supply houses use us as their same-day delivery arm to win and hold contractor accounts without buying and insuring another truck.
Inter-branch and shop transfers. Moving equipment between your warehouse, your shop and your sites, or chasing a part that only one branch in the state has.
Returns, cores and warranty. Getting the wrong part or the warranty core back to the branch so the credit actually posts.
Serving contractors across Florida
Our base in Pembroke Pines sits on the Turnpike and I-75 and minutes from I-95, which puts most of Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach within a short dedicated run — Miramar, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Davie, Weston, Sunrise, Plantation, Coral Springs, Doral, Hialeah, Miami, Kendall, Homestead, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
Statewide runs to Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Lakeland, Orlando, Ocala and Jacksonville are same-day jobs when they are dispatched dedicated, which is exactly how we dispatch them.

- Direct jobsite deliveryStraight to the roof access, the gate or the equipment yard — not to your shop for someone else to relay.
- Photo POD with recipient nameYou see who took the part and when, so nothing gets left at a gate and forgotten.
- Full-equipment capacity533 cu ft, 15 ft 9 in of load length: condensers, air handlers, 20-ft line sets and pallets go inside.

- Returns and warranty coresThe same run in reverse so credits post and cores stop piling up in your bay.
- Emergency and after-hoursTime-critical commercial failures do not keep business hours. Call and we will tell you straight if we can cover it.
Questions we get about this service
Which supply houses do you pick up from?
Any of them. We run will-call counters across South Florida — Gemaire, Johnstone Supply, Ferguson, Carrier Enterprise, Baker Distributing, RE Michel, Watsco branches and the independents — plus manufacturer warehouses and your own shop or warehouse. Give us the branch, the will-call name and the PO or order number and we handle the counter.
How fast can you get a part to my tech?
For a tri-county pickup we are typically rolling within 60 to 90 minutes of a confirmed order and delivering direct from there. There is no consolidation stop, so the drive time is the delivery time. If the part is at a branch across the state, tell us and we will give you an honest door-time before you commit to the customer.
Does the van fit full equipment, not just small parts?
Yes. That is the point of running a 170″ Extended High Roof: up to 533 cu ft, a load length near 15 ft 9 in and roughly 79 in of interior height. Condensing units, air handlers, package units, 12- and 20-ft line sets, sheet metal, spiral duct, flex, ladders, recovery machines and full pallets of filters all go inside — enclosed and out of the rain, not strapped to an open bed.
Can you deliver after hours or on a weekend?
Call us. Emergency and after-hours runs are a large part of what expedited service is for — a commercial chiller down on a Saturday does not wait until Monday. We will tell you straight away whether we can cover it.
Can you deliver to the jobsite instead of our shop?
That is usually the whole point. We deliver direct to the roof access, the equipment yard, the gate or wherever your tech actually is, and we send a photo POD with the recipient's name so you know the part landed with the right person — not left at a gate.
Do you handle returns and warranty parts back to the branch?
Yes. Return runs, warranty cores, wrong-part swaps and shop-to-shop transfers are routine. It is the same dedicated run in the other direction, and it gets your credit processed instead of leaving a core sitting in a truck for three weeks.
Part at the counter, tech on the roof?
Tell us the branch, the jobsite and the deadline. You will get an all-in price and an honest door-time before you promise anything to your customer.
